I am Jennifer Laverty, a beadwork, crafter, and artist who has been creating one of a kind earrings, regalia, and leatherwork for over 30 years.
My family comes from Northern Wisconsin and I am proud to say I am an enrolled member of the Lac du Flambeau Band of Lake Superior Chippewa Indians.
I’ve also enjoyed practicing traditional Ojibway culture everything from spearfishing, harvesting wild rice, hunting, and maple syrup.
I went to Flandreau Indian School where I experienced many different Native American tribes, and was able to learn traditional beadwork and crafts. I believe my love for beadwork was naturally passed down by my grandmother even though I never met her, I have been told I do beadwork just like she did.
Along the way I served my country in the United States Navy, where I got to travel the world and learn about even more cultures.
Lastly, I love creating beautiful crafts and beadwork to share the rich Native American culture with all people.
If you’re looking to hire me for custom beadwork and regalia feel free to contact me for a quote.
